Shannon Cogan Biography

Shannon Cogan is an American Multiple Emmy Award-winning anchor and reporter working at WAVE 3 where she serves as a morning anchor from 4:30 am to 7 am and from 11 am to noon. Cogan joined the WAVE 3News team in June 2013

Prior to joining WAVE News, she worked at WFOR/CBS 4 in Miami where she served as the primary anchor.

She also worked at KTVT/CBS 11 in Dallas where she served as a morning show anchor and while she was there, she contributed to stories about former Dallas Cowboys players for a show hosted by Babe Laufenberg and Troy Aikman.

In addition, she also worked at WESH-TV, the NBC affiliate in Orlando, Florida where she covered the 2000 presidential election and the Columbia space shuttle disaster. From 1994 to 1998, Cogan worked at WLKY-TV in Louisville where she served as a morning anchor and at WTWO-TV, the NBC affiliate in Terre Haute, Indiana.
